Here at USA House

What a night. Every night at the end of the day of competition the medalists come by USA House, many of them with their families. Tonight Lindsey Jacobellis came by with her family. We met her mom and cousin, and got a picture with Lindsey. (We're still on a day delay getting pictures posted - so you'll see it tomorrow.) She is as sweet as can be. We got to hold her silver medal. They are a lot cooler looking than they appear on TV. I thought it looked like a CD when I saw the first one on TV, but they are really heavy, and about a half inch thick. They are actually beautiful.

We spent quite a bit of time with Toby Dawson, the Freestyle Mogul Olympic Bronze medalist, and his girlfriend. She was telling us his story. He was born in Korea, and abandoned at three years old. He was adopted by a couple that were both ski instructors in Aspen. When he was thirteen, his brother was going to a soccer camp, and so his mom sent him to a freestyle skiing camp. He loved it, and the rest as they say, is history. Gave us goosebumps! And he is just soaking in the moment - having a ball, and just as nice as can be.
Toby has new fans - Toby and Barb.
